The Saratoga Springs Utah Temple, Utah's eighteenth temple, was announced by President Thomas S. Monson on April 2, 2017, during the Sunday Morning Session of the General Conference. Elder Craig C. Christensen, Utah area president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, presided at the groundbreaking ceremony for the Saratoga Springs Utah Temple on Saturday, October 19, 2019. The open house of Saratoga Temple open house is April 10th for private guests and April 11th through the 14th for guests. The public tour of the Saratoga Temple was from April 15th through July 8, 2023; no tours are held on Sundays. President Henry B. Eyring of the first presidency, will preside at the dedication on August 13, 2023. The dedicatory sessions will be broadcast only to units in the temple district from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon, the last at 3:00 pm.
