The Prophet, Russel M. Nelson, presided at the groundbreaking and offered the dedicatory prayer for the Heber Valley Utah Temple on Saturday, October 8, 2022. The Heber Temple is constructed on a 17.9-acre site at 1400 E Center Street, Heber City, Utah. The architectural features of the Heber Valley Temple have two attached end towers. The Heber Temple has four instruction rooms, four sealing rooms, and one baptistry. The Heber Valley Temple's total square feet of the temple will be 88,000. The Elevation of the Heber Valley Utah Temple site will be 5,712 feet. The first official rendering of the Temple was released on September 19, 2022. The Heber Valley Utah Temple will be three stories high, the twenty-eighth Temple in Utah and the first to be built in Wasatch County.
